They become rational, precise, and faultless.

And they gradually lose hesitation, relationships, and the parts of themselves that bind them to the living world.

Mimir is one of the few who rejects all of this.

He does not seek power. Instead, he seeks the source of the Fountain of Wisdom, intending to destroy it.

Because he believes—

if truth can replace the judgment of the living, then in time, it will replace the living themselves.

But on this road, those he encounters are not enemies, but people who have already come closer to truth.

They are not mad. In fact, they are clearer-minded than anyone else.

Only—they no longer fully belong among the living.

And you will meet him on this journey.

You may stop him, question him, or walk beside him.

But whatever you choose, there is one question you will not be able to avoid:

If truth can be attained, do the living still need to make their own choices?
